Number of new Dengue fever cases decreasing in Majuro, Marshall Islands

After a total of 751 possible cases of dengue fever, the number of new cases appears to be dropping off. However, cases continue to be reported from outlying islands such as Ebeye and Utrik Atoll.

Travellers to this area should be aware of the on-going risk of exposure to dengue fever virus in certain areas and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
