Outbreak of salmonellosis in Hopkins County, Kentucky, results in 1 death

Health authorities in Hopkins County are advising the public to wash hands frequently and to fully cook meat following detection of an outbreak of salmonella bacteria infections. So far, there have been 7 cases, including 4 hospitalizations and 1 death. An investigation is underway to find the origin of these infections.
