Peru - Dengue fever - update

The outbreak of dengue fever in Peru's northern Amazon jungle region continues. A particularly virulent strain of the dengue virus has caused the deaths of 14 people. An estimated 13,000 people have been infected, with approximately 1,600 people hospitalised for treatment.
