Philippines DOH warns about a possible rise in dengue fever cases

Officials of the Philippines Department of Health (DOH) have reported that there were 1,340 Dengue fever cases in the country from January 1 to 15, 2011. There were three deaths. Recent flooding in many areas have increased the number of mosquito breeding places.
