Political crisis in Tunisia deepens midst large protests

In the capital, Tunis, more than 10,000 demonstrators participated in one of the biggest protests since the opposition began mobilizing against the Islamic government. Protests were also reported in the town of al-Qasreen. In addition, suspected Al-Qaeda militants killed nine Tunisian soldiers and stripped them of their weapons near the Algerian border.
