Political tension returns to Bangkok

Thousands of anti-government protesters demonstrated in the streets of Bangkok once again to force the resignation of the country's prime minister. The protesters marched from Lumpini Park, taking six different routes through the city centre. Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court added to the political tension by declaring the parliamentary elections last month as invalid.

Travellers should avoid all political and public gatherings since they may become violent without notice.
