Advice For Travellers

Travellers should be aware that the political situation in Mozambique has been unstable for months, with the opposition refusing to recognize the results of 2014 elections. Due to heightened tensions between government forces and opposition militia in Manica province, there may be checkpoints and possible delays along the road between Chimoio and Beira. Exercise caution in this area. Carry identification and relevant documents with you at all times.
