Presidential Inauguration in Mozambique on 15 January 2020

The inauguration of Mozambique’s re-elected President will take place on 15 January in Maputo. About 3,000 people, including foreign delegates, 12 heads of states, and envoys from home and abroad will participate in the inauguration ceremony.

Increased security measures along with traffic and local transportation disruptions are expected for the inauguration. Protests may occur. Avoid all areas of protests to minimize safety risks.
