Protests in Batumi, Georgia

Some violent clashes broke out between police and protestors in the city of Batumi, Georgia, on March 11. Police used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the crowds. Protesters were angry about disproportionately high fines by police for minor traffic offences.
