Returning physician has Ebola in New York City

A physician in New York City who provided care for Ebola patients in Guinea has been diagnosed with Ebola shortly after returning from West Africa. Extensive monitoring of possible contacts is underway. Authorities consider the risk of spread to be very low, since the doctor was hospitalized in isolation as soon as symptoms developed.

The risk of exposure for travellers to New York City is essentially nil.
