Risk of Eruption at Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia

Indonesian authorities have lowered Mount Agung’s volcanic alert status from the highest level 4 to level 3. Mount Agung is still showing signs of volcanic activity which may indicate a near future eruption.

The Foreign and Commonwealth office advises all travellers to avoid all non-essential travel within 4km of Mount Agung. Follow the local news for updates of the volcanic status.
