Risk of measles exposure in Adelaide and Melbourne airports

Health authorities in South Australia are warning of possible measles exposure in the Adelaide and Melbourne airports after a man infected with the disease travelled from Dubai through Melbourne to Adelaide. Health officials are warning anyone who was in these airports on July 8 or on the following flights to be alert for symptoms of measles: Emirates flight EK 406 from Dubai to Melbourne on July 8, or the Virgin flight DJ 213 from Melbourne to Adelaide on the same day.

Travellers should be aware of the risk of exposure to measles as it is a highly infectious disease, and always ensure that all their childhood vaccinations are up-to-date.
