Health officials in Miami-Dade County have confirmed a second case of dengue fever acquired locally from infected mosquitoes. While the risk for travellers in this area is very low, travellers to this area should still be somewhat cautious and reduce their risk of exposure to dengue fever virus by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
