Sectarian protests in various cities in Iraq - Update

Thousands of Sunni protesters continued the demonstrations that began several days ago in Fallujah and in Ramadi, 100km west of Baghdad, in Anbar Province. The protests began when the body guards of the minister of finance were arrested. Sunnis claim discrimination by the Shia-led government. Travellers should always exercise caution and avoid all public and political demonstrations since they may become violent without prior notice.
