Sectarian violence erupts in Karachi, Pakistan

A roadside bomb that was presumably set off by a cell phone killed at least seven people near a Shi'ite procession. The procession was part of religious obeservances of the Shi'ite mourning month of Muharram. More than a dozen people have already been killed this week observing Muharram. Hardline Sunnis and Taliban have threatened more attacks.
