Security alert for Pakistan issued by U.K. and U.S.A. governments

The governments of the United Kingdom and the United States have warned citizens of credible terrorist attack threats in Pakistan against certain locations. This warning includes Marriott hotels in Islamabad and Karachi (including riding past the hotels), the Monal restaurant on Pir Sohawa Road in the Margalla Hills near Islamabad, all Margalla Hills trails in Islamabad, and the Koshar Market in Sector F6/2, Islamabad. Avoid Abdullah Haroon Road in Karachi, including locations such as the Sind Club. Avoid areas of Karachi where vaccination programs are taking place, particularly in the Orangi Town area where 7 policemen protecting polio workers were shot and killed on April 20, 2016.
