Severe flooding in Myanmar leads to state of emergency nationwide

A month of monsoon rain over all but two of Myanmar's 14 states has caused large scale flooding that has killed at least 27 people. A state of emergency was declared in the heavily affected areas. There are fears of dams collapsing. Much farmland has been destroyed, and infrastructure has been damaged.
