Severe storm causes deadly flash floods in northern Iran

A severe storm and heavy rains caused flash flooding in which at least 11 people were killed yesterday in northern Iran in the provinces of Tehran, Alborz and Qazvin. Flooding damaged infrastructure, caused power outages, and some villages are cut off due to damage to access roads.
