Severe weather along eastern coast of Australia

Heavy rains and strong winds have created flooding across southern parts of Queensland. The most affected areas include Upper Springbrook on the Gold Coast, Cape Moreton and Mount Tamborine. Numerous roads, including the Bruce highway, were inundated and impassable. Several areas are without electricity. The storm is moving southwards towards New South Wales and Sydney.
