Shigellosis - officials trying to control outbreak of shigellosis in Indian River County, Florida, USA

Health officials are trying to contain an outbreak of shigellosis involving 42 cases in Indian River County. Of these, 27 cases have been confirmed by laboratory testing. Most of the cases have been associated with child care and school students and staff.
