Slight reduction in malaria cases in Mozambique so far this year

There has been a slight decrease in the number of reported cases of malaria nationwide, from approximately 3,340,000 cases in the first 6 months of 2014 to 3,330,000 cases this year. A bigger reduction in the number of deaths has been reported, from 2,000 in 2014 to 1,481 so far this year.
