Spontaneous Protests in Honduras

There are reports of spontaneous protests and roadblocks in the following areas:

• Within Tegucigalpa;
• Along the CA-5 between Tegucigalpa and Puerto Cortes;
• The CA-13 between the cities of El Progreso and Trujillo;
• The cities of Choluteca and Nacaome in Choluteca Department.

Avoid any unnecessary travel to these areas at this time. Exercise caution with respect to personal safety and security.
