State of emergency declared in California due to wildfire

The governor of the state of California has declared a state of emergency after a 50,000-acre fire spread through Lake and Napa counties and destroyed hundreds of buildings.

Advice For Travellers

Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for the communities of Cobb, Seigler Canyon, Loch Lomond, Middletown and Hidden Valley Lakes. Residents of the Angwin community is advised to leave.

Travellers should avoid travelling in these areas at this time.
