Student protests in Lima, Peru, turn violent

Thursday's demonstration by student protesters in Lima, Peru, turned violent when students tried to march through the centre of town. Police used tear gas and water cannons to prevent the protesters from marching to the National Congress. Similar protests took place in several of Peru's provincial capitals.
