Sudden rainstorm in Java, Indonesia, kills 20 people

Although September is usually the dry season in Java, a sudden torrential rainstorm caused the Cimanuk River to overflow its banks. The town of Garut was the most affected. Overall, 20 people are known to have died in the floods, and dozens of people are still missing.
