Suicide bombings in Cameroon

In two suicide bombings in Fotokol, Cameroon, about 13 people were killed, including 12 civilians and a Chadian soldier. The two explosions occurred in a night market near a Cameroon special forces camp, one inside a bar and the second one as soldiers approached the bar. The attackers wore burqas.

This attack follows a similar attack in Chad, also in a market by an attacker wearing a burqa.

Nigeria extremists, such as the Boko Haram, have crossed into Cameroon in the Far North Province. Most countries recommend leaving this province.
