Suicide on rapid Nozomi train halts service on Tokyo-Osaka line, Japan
A man who committed suicide by setting himself on fire aboard a super fast Japanese Nozomi train going from Tokyo to Osaka near Odawara city caused the death of another passenger and injuries to 2 more people.
All trains on the Tokyo-Osaka high speed line have been stopped. Staff do not know when trains would resume operating.
Passengers should check with train operators regarding resumption of services.
