Super Typhoon Haiyan heads for Vietnam

The super typhoon, Haiyan, is now heading for Vietnam and is expected to make landfall early Sunday. Authorities in Vietnam have begun mass evacuations of more than 100,000 people in central Danang and Quang Ngai provinces as the country goes on high alert. State media report that schools are being closed, people living in low lying coastal areas are being moved to typhoon shelters on higher ground, shipping has been ordered back to port, and airlines have advised that flights will be disrupted or cancelled on Sunday.
