Temporary border controls in Sweden

Sweden has announced new temporary refugee border controls to deal with huge numbers of refugee arrivals. New measures will mainly apply to the Öresund bridge crossing and ferry ports in the area. ID controls on passenger ferries may be introduced.

The new measures take effect today, November 12, for a period of 10 days and could be extended by 20-day periods. Carry a valid passport.
