Tourist convoy attacked in Afghanistan

A group of foreign tourists were ambushed and attacked by Taliban while being escorted by an Afghan Army convoy. The attack occurred in the western province of Herat in the Chesht-e Sharif district. Reports indicate that U.S., U.K. and German citizens were among the group, and that six people were injured.
