Transportation groups to hold nationwide strike in Philippines on February 27, 2017

Several transport groups have called for another nationwide transportation strike on Monday, February 27. The strike will be held in over 20 cities and municipalities around the country. In Metro Manila, the strike will begin at 0600 at designated: Monumento in Caloocan City; the Alabang City terminal in Muntinlupa; the corner of Airport Road and Quirino Avanue and along Roxas Boulevard service road in Baclaran; Anda Circle; the corner of Pedro Gil and Agoncillo St.; Aurora Boulevard in Cubao, Quezon City; the intersection of Bonifacio and Shoe Avenues in Marikina; Philcoa; in front of Nova Mall in Novaliches, and Taytay, Rizal.

A protest procession will also be held at 1100 from the Elliptical Circle and Welcome Rotonda to Mendiola, where a rally will be held.
