Travel disruption in eastern Europe due to influx of refugees

With the current flow of refugees transiting through Croatia, the borders among Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary are under tight restrictions. In Macedonia, the south and north border areas near Gevgelija and Kumanovo have been declared to be crisis areas due to the numbers of people entering the country and transiting mainly by train to Serbia.

Advice For Travellers

Travellers should expect possible travel disruptions, such as long delays or border crossings closing with short notice.
