Traveller infected with measles in India

A traveller who lives in Tarrant County, Texas, developed measles after returning from a trip to India. It is not known yet if there will be additional spread from this case. Travellers often spread the disease when they return to their countries. Travellers can reduce their risk of exposure to measles virus by ensuring that their childhood vaccinations, including measles, are up-to-date prior to travelling.
