Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu closed until 10 am March 6

Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu has been closed since the crash landing of the Turkish Airline’s flight on Wednesday. The airport is scheduled to reopen on Friday at 10:00 am local time after the damaged aircraft is removed from the runway. Thousands have been stranded. Only some domestic flights continue to operate at this time.
