Tropical storm NATE en route to Yucatán peninsula and US Gulf Coast

Tropical storm NATE is currently affecting Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, where heavy rains and wind caused landslides and floods which are blocking roads, destroying bridges and damaging houses. Twenty deaths have been reported. The storm is en route to the Yucatan Peninsula. It may strengthen to hurricane force and is expected to reach the gulf coast of the USA by Saturday.
