Tropical Storm SON TINH Damages Vietnam

For the past 2-3 days, heavy rains from tropical storm SON TINH have caused extensive damage in northern Vietnam. Twenty people have died, 14 are injured, and 16 are missing. The capital city of Hanoi was flooded and more than 5,000 houses were damaged, swept away, submerged or collapsed. Crop damage is extensive. More rain is expected over the next few days.
