Two weeks of heavy rains leave 50,000 homeless in 2 Brazilian states

The states of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo have experienced 2 weeks of very heavy rains that have cause flooding and landslides. Approximately 50,000 people are homeless while as many as 34 people have died (17 in both Minas Gerais and Espirto Santo).
