Typhoid fever cases in Harare, Zimbabwe, cause high alert

In the past 2 weeks, there were 18 cases of typhoid fever in the city of Harare. Due to high levels of diarrhoae and water supplies that are frequently contaminated, health authorities are on high alert for a possible outbreak of this disease.
