Typhoid Fever - Fiji

A serious outbreak of Typhoid fever has been detected in the interior of Naitasiri, Fiji, with more than a hundred reported cases. While most of the cases are being treated at Vunidawa Hospital, the more serious cases have been taken to Suva.

Travellers to this area should be aware of the risk of exposure to Typhoid fever.
