Uganda: Deadly Floods

Weeks of heavy rains have caused serious flooding in the western Bundibugyo area where 16 people have died in flash floods. Homes have been washed away and a number of roads blocked or destroyed.

Travellers should avoid the affected area since essential services, including transportation, may be seriously affected.
