Unpasteurized milk causes another food poisoning outbreak in Wisconsin, USA

Consumption of raw (unpasteurized) milk by a football team in the town of Durand caused 38 cases of food poisoning among members of the football team, managers and coaching staff who attended a team dinner. Laboratory tests identified bacterial contamination (Campylobacter jejuni) as the cause. Raw milk and raw milk products can contain harmful bacteria, including
campylobacter.

To avoid potentially serious food poisoning, do not consume unpasteurized milk or milk products.
