Advice For Travellers

The overall risk remains low for most visitors to the island. However, all travellers to areas where the dengue fever virus is active can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Persons with dengue fever may not seek medical care and may not be reported to health authorities. There may be more cases in the community than the reports indicate.
