Update on flight disruptions to and from Bali due to Mount Raung volcano

Flights to and from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport (also known as Denpasar International Airport) may continue to be cancelled or delayed on short notice due to ongoing eruptions of the Mount Raung volcano in eastern Java, Indonesia, and shifting and variable light winds that carry the volcanic ash.

Individual airlines make their own assessment on when to resume normal flights. Check with your own air carrier for up-to-date information on opportunities to depart Bali.

Be aware that you could be stranded on Bali and make contingency plans, i.e. for financial and accommodations needs.

Check on visa requirements should your stay get extended.
