The U.S. Department of State has warned its citizens against traveling to all parts of Jordan. The State Department recommends that U.S. citizens avoid traveling to the Western Desert and the Sinai Peninsula outside the beach resort of Sharm El-Sheikh. Avoid overland travel anywhere in the Sinai.
