Violence during protests in Bangkok, Thailand

Today, at least 28 people were injured when 2 explosions occurred in Bangkok. The explosions followed a few hours after an anti-government activist was wounded by a gunman who shot at protesters shortly before midnight on Saturday.

While the day-time protests have been largely peaceful in Bangkok, violence has happened at night, including shooting at protest sites and small explosives thrown at the homes of protest supporters.

Avoid all public gatherings and demonstration sites, since they can become violent without notice.
