Violence erupts in Juba, South Sudan

There are concerns that civil war may return to South Sudan as armed conflict began outside the presidential compound. The President was meeting with first vice president and former rebel leader Riek Machar. The shooting soon spread throughout the city. The total number of deaths is unknown, but apparently most of them were soldiers. United Nations peacekeepers have said that the streets are unsafe at present.
