Violent clashes continue in Misurata.

Violent clashes between rebel forces and loyalists of Muammar Gaddafi continue in Libya with heavy fighting in Misurata, including explosions and automatic arms fire. At least 25 people have been killed in the city and at least 71 others severely injured.

Libyan pro-democracy forces have been in conflict with Gaddafi loyalists since mid-February in an attempt to end his 41-year-old rule.
