In Egypt, at least 49 people have died and more than 1,000 arrested during rival rallies as Egypt marked the third anniversary of the 2011 revolution that ousted the Islamist President Morsi. Battles broke out between anti-government protesters and Islamists and fighting with police. Clashes occurred in and around Cairo and Alexandria.
