Violent protests continue across Turkey

Three more people died from injuries received at pro-Kurdish protests in Gaziantep, Turkey, on Thursday bringing the death toll to 31. Also on Thursday, two policemen were shot and killed by unidentified shooters in Bingol Province.

The violent protests in Turkey are continuing across the country, including the cities of Gaziantep, Diyarbakir, Mardin and Bingol, due to anger over the ISIL siege of Kobani in Syria near the Turkish border. Some countries are warning citizens to avoid all travel to the province of Tunceli and areas bordering Iraq, including Hakkari, Sirnak and Siirt provinces.
