Violent protests likely to continue in Belfast, Norther Ireland

Although some 50 police have been injured during the violent protests in Belfast in the last week, there are no indications Monday that the demonstrations were dying down. Protest organizers are calling for protesters to converge on Belfast's City Hall before the council meeting and to prepared for more daily protests for the rest of the week. Travellers should always exercise caution and avoid all of these public and political demonstrations since they have led to violence without prior notice.
